I just found out that a new class is being introduced this year specifically for Classic American Muscle cars. This class needs your normal safety gears items but other than that is pretty much unlimited. It does have weight restrictions of 3000 lbs and minimum tire tread-ware of 200 but the rest of the rules pretty much tell you whatever you want. However this is new and not a national class yet, and I have no clue how they will score this class in PAX but that is a whole other ball of wax.

yep, Cam is a good crossover for guys that do Goodguys and Optima Invitationals. The great equalizer being the 200 treadwear tires...currently Falken RT615 and BFG Rival's being the top tires used. The rules look like they accept a mishmash of modifications...which is good because my car wasn't built around one sactioning bodies rule set. A lot of car guys are stuck in the same boat, so I think it will bring them a lot of new participants.

No, I've been around for years, just never posted much. I like all cars, but I drive a Mustang. And it'd be hard to trade it. Nothing classic yet, but someday.
